Lady Alleges Reekado Banks’ Management Failed to Honour Promise

A Nigerian lady has called out the management of singer Reekado Banks, alleging that the artiste’s team failed to fulfil a promise of compensation made to her after she joined him on stage during a performance.

According to her account, she was dancing with Reekado Banks on stage when a member of his management approached her as she was about to leave. She alleged that the manager told her she would be compensated for participating in the performance, despite the fact that she had not requested payment.

She said they exchanged contact details and she subsequently introduced herself via message. However, she claimed that the manager did not follow up.

Days later, another person who identified himself as a member of Reekado Banks’ team reportedly contacted her and asked whether she had received the promised compensation. She said she contacted the first manager to verify the person’s identity and was asked to provide a screenshot of their conversation.

The lady alleged that after sending the screenshot, her messages were left unanswered despite another follow-up.

She stressed that her complaint was not primarily about the money, saying she would not have expected compensation if it had not been offered in the first place.

“It’s not even about the money. If they had not offered compensation, I wouldn’t have expected anything.”

As of the latest reports, Reekado Banks and his management had not publicly responded to the allegation. The claims remain allegations and have not been independently verified.
