Asake’s Work of Art Surpasses 900 Million Spotify Streams

Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has reached another major streaming milestone as his 2023 album, Work of Art, has officially crossed 900 million streams on Spotify.

The achievement makes Work of Art the second Asake project to surpass 900 million Spotify streams, following his debut album, Mr. Money With The Vibe. The milestone was reported on September 28, 2026.

Another Major Streaming Milestone for Asake

Released in June 2023, Work of Art remains one of the most successful projects in Asake’s catalogue.

The 14-track album includes some of his biggest records, including “Lonely At The Top,” “Amapiano” featuring Olamide, “Remember,” “2:30,” “Basquiat” and “Great Guy.”

According to current streaming data, Work of Art was sitting at roughly 899.6 million Spotify streams on September 27, putting it within striking distance of the 900 million mark before the milestone was reported.

Work of Art Continues to Pull Big Numbers

More than three years after its release, the album continues to attract listeners around the world.

Its performance has been driven by the longevity of songs such as “Lonely At The Top” and “Amapiano,” which remain among the project’s most-streamed tracks.

The album previously passed 800 million Spotify streams in May 2026, according to ChartMasters’ milestone data.

Asake Now Has Two Albums Near the Billion Mark

Asake’s debut album, Mr. Money With The Vibe, has already moved beyond the 900 million mark and was listed at approximately 972 million Spotify streams in late September.

With Work of Art now joining it in the 900 million club, both projects are continuing toward the one-billion-stream milestone.
